If a bag of weed can change your world, could a bag change the weed world?
A few years ago headlines cheered that cannabis could be the first billion-dollar industry that isn't dominated by men. Spoiler alert: it’s dominated by men.
That point was made very clear when we saw this stat: only 20% of cannabis businesses are owned by women. That’s it. And that number keeps decreasing. Every. Single. Year. So Miss Grass set out to shift that stat and this industry in the other direction.
As one of the 20% of women-owned weed businesses, Miss Grass partnered with longtime champion for supporting women-owned weed and apparel brand,
BUY WEED FROM WOMEN, founded by poet and author, Jasmine Mans. Together, we launched 4(THE)20, a campaign that tested a simple high thought: if a bag of weed can change your world, could a bag change the weed world?

Really, the statement bag was just the first step to get the word onto the streets, socials, and into dispensaries. We then highlighted fellow 20%ers on our platforms to raise awareness, celebrate their successes, share their insights, and inspire more women to join the industry.
From the streets to industry events, the bag + word got around.
